Seams not a simple matter |

The HVAC pieces are usually made using very thin metal sheets, so welding is not suitable to make seams. In order to make seams you need that while unrolling the piece on the sheet, the Cad/Cam insert some extra material to make overlaps. The geometry of this overlaps can vary in a lot of strange ways.
If the overlaps need to close the piece in a way longitudinal to the air flow are quite different from the overlaps needed on trasversal.
Longitudinal and trasversal overlaps need to be parameterized in a very effective and easy way in order to speed up the building process of HVAC pieces.
